Tune In To Radio Darkness
To be short, it works fine. Here’s a rundown of different music players and platforms.
XMMS on Linux - Plays fine. However, the status bar will not tell you what the song and artist is. It will simply state “Radio Darkness”.
Rythmbox on Linux - Plays fine. However, the station will not automatically ID itself as Radio Darkness. Instead, it will identify as a URL, which you can change in the preferences box. It will tell you correct artist and song title information.
XINE/Any GUI on Linux - Everything works fine.
Mplayer on Linux - Everything works fine. Sometimes hangs at prebuffering the stream.
XMMS on FreeBSD - Everything works fine, except that the artist and song title don’t display. It instead says “Radio Darkness”.
Mac users can tune in by opening iTunes and using the WinAmp version of our beloved radio station. Works just fine.

Winamp or iTunes
Windows Media Player
The latest version of Amarok on Linux and BSD will work but does not show the stream title.
